Building a Ribbon of Hope

Saturday, April 26, 2025 , Siteman Cancer Center – St. Peters Hospital from 11 am – 3 pm

FREE Admission - Family Friendly

Join us in creating a Ribbon of Hope to support those touched by cancer or those receiving care at the Siteman Cancer Center – St. Peters. This free, family-friendly event is a chance to come together, raise awareness and show your support for health resources offered through the St. Charles County BJC HealthCare facilities and our Foundation.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. Purchase a Ribbon or Banner: Buy your ribbon or become an event sponsor.
2. Create a Fundraising Team: Extend your support by joining our Ribbon of Hope Ambassador Campaign. Start your own peer-to-peer fundraising effort or company team by encouraging friends, family, and colleagues to donate or participate.
3. Display Your Support: All ribbons and banners will be displayed in the field of hope next to the Siteman Cancer Center during the event.
4. Personalize Your Message: Inscribe a message of hope and encouragement.
5. Celebrate: Bring your friends and family to participate in our event on April 26 at Siteman Cancer Center – St. Peters to celebrate the support raised to benefit our patients.

COMMUNITY FUN FOR ALL AGES

While contributing to the Ribbon of Hope, enjoy:

• Engagement with Health Services Partners: Meet local healthcare and community vendors.
• Family Entertainment: Activities, educational opportunities, and live demonstrations.
• The Mission in Action: Learn how your support directly impacts cancer patients. Get a massage and participate in a yoga session on the day of the event!

MAKE AN IMPACT FOR PATIENTS

Your contributions support vital services, including:

• Therapies During Treatment: Massage sessions, yoga classes, horticulture and pet therapies for patients undergoing chemotherapy.
• Transportation Services: Helping patients access treatments when travel is a challenge.
• Uncovered Medical Needs: Funding devices and medications not covered by insurance.

START YOUR RIBBON OF HOPE AMBASSADOR FUNDRAISING TEAM

EVENT DAY ACTIVITIES

• Building our Ribbon of Hope (moment of silence at 1:00 pm)
• Purchase a ribbon to place on the field and honor a family member, friend, or caregiver. Ribbons may be purchased in advance (see form below) or at the Foundation booth during the event.
• Join us on the ribbon field at 1:00 pm to honor and remember those who have battled and lost their fight.
• Tours of the Siteman Cancer Center – St. Peters
• Heart Health Screenings
• Blood Drive provided by American Red Cross
• Prescription Give Back Opportunity
• Bring your old prescription drugs and turn them in safely during Ribbon of Hope
• Therapy services on site: massage, music, horticulture, pet therapy and yoga!
• Join a basic, family friendly yoga session. No mats or special clothes required.
• Experience our massage therapy and learn how these sessions help our patients.
• Get your hands a little dirty and join our partners from the Missouri Botanical Gardens in creating a fun take home item!
• Meet our Pet Therapy super stars, we know they will put a smile on your face.
• Family-Friendly Activities: edible art, bounce house, bubble bus, face painting, balloon artists, DJ, photo booth and more!
