Walk for Women’s Health

Join the Barnes-Jewish St. Peters & Progress West Foundation for the inaugural Walk for Women’s Health at Progress West Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024. Participants will walk around our O’Fallon hospital campus for a family-friendly one-mile walk.
All participants who register before October 11 will receive a t-shirt. Adult registration is $25 and child registration is $15. Participants may also register on the day of the event.
Walk Day Rundown
Saturday, October 26, 2024
- Check in will open at 8 a.m.
- We will have a brief program at 9:00 a.m.
- The Walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. and consist of a one-mile loop.
- Walk for Women’s Health will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, walk start time may be delayed. We recommend that participants be in the area of the starting line by 9 a.m. Decisions regarding the start of the race will be communicated to all participants (updates to social media and the website may be delayed).
- Note: No rollerblades, bikes, skates or skateboards will be permitted.
Following the walk, we will have family friendly fall activities and food to enjoy!
Planned Activities
- Appearance by therapy dog, Louie
- Pumpkin painting and apple bobbing
- Face painting
- Appearances by local fire, police and ambulance districts

- Tom’s Coffee Truck
- Complimentary waffle bar

The Walk for Women’s Health is working to raise funds in support of our women’s health programming and services at our BJC HealthCare facilities in St. Charles County. This new Foundation event will raise funds in support of programs and services such as:
- Therapy services for breast cancer patients receiving care at Siteman Cancer Center - St. Peters
- Jump starting our free screenings for breast health or ovarian/fallopian cancer
- Supplying books and essentials to the pediatric/NICU department at Progress West Hospital
- Supplying car seats and pack n' plays for new families lacking these essentials
- Supporting our virtual breastfeeding classes sponsored by Progress West Hospital
- Teen pregnancy prevention education and support classes
